This is the fourth book in the Mortal Instruments series. Clary is home and yet everything has changed she is now training and learning more and more about the Shadowhunter world. And yet things have changed Shadowhunters are dying and it doesn’t look good for the Downworlders. Everyone wants a piece of Simon now that he is homeless and he is getting himself into very deep with two very beautiful women. Jace is pulling away and confusing Clary. This book only builds on the world of Mortal Instruments, adding more questions while answer some as well. I got mad at Jace several times through out this book, but was caught up in Clary. I loved reading this book and look forward to reading the next book in this series, City of Lost Souls.

As much as a lot of people didn't like this book because there wasn't much Edward in it, I loved the dynamic between Jacob and Bella. I even like how Jacob and Alice interacted with one another while trying to play nice for Bella. You are able to get an understanding to the relationship that grows into true friendship with Jacob and Bella. And the way Italy is described I could almost feel like I was there watching on. While this story is loosely based off of Romeo and Juliet, which I love. I found myself liking this story more for the ways it is not similar to it. It is such a well written story you can almost feel the pain of loss that Bella is going through. And while some people may not have liked it, I believe that you have to have this to round out the saga for the later story lines. I personally thought it was amazing. Looking forward to reading the next book in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse.

It shows a new side to the werewolves, it just makes me love them so much more. I don’t think that you do wrong by reading any of these books. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series, No Humans Involved.

This is the final book in the Immortals quartet. In this book we finally learn of Daine’s father. This story at first was a little confusing as we get to see more of the gods and goddesses in their own setting. Their trials to getting back to their friends brings both Numair and Daine closer, which I loved. I also enjoyed the interaction with the dragons. There is a lot that Daine has to take in and choose as this story goes on. But she ends up returning to Kit and her friends with Numair. I really liked this a lot and was happy with the out come. For another series by Tamora Pierce this was great to have someone who is more of an average girl who becomes extraordinary. The world that started in the Song of the Lioness series has grown rich with the addition of these books, and I love how they just billed on one another. I look forward to reading the next quartet, Protector of the Small which starts with The First Test.

This is the third book in the Monere, Children of the Moon series. Mona Lisa is learning so much more about herself and the world of Monere. With Dante in the mix it just adds to the story making the world feel richer. This is by far my favorite of the stories of Mona Lisa. Dante who has known her in previous lives is very troubled. And yet she still wants to save him even with what has happened between them in the past. There is some sadness in this story but it is still very well done. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series, Mona Lisa Darkening.

This is the second spinoff book that Jeaniene Frost from Night Huntress world. This is Mencheres’ story. Now he feels that there is nothing for him after fulfilling his visions. But Kira comes across him as he is being attacked. Now they are drawn towards one another. It doesn’t help that another Master Vampire is trying to start something as well. This is one of those stories that is just adding to the saga of the Night Huntress world. Mencheres is shown in a new light that is very different from what we have learned of him. Kira is now one of my favorite characters in the series. I loved this book and can’’t wait to read the next book in the series, This Side of the Grave.

Seth’’s decision to become a Faery wasn’t all that shocking. His love for Aislinn shows through time and again. I am interested where this is going as Keenan has just made a mess of everything with all those who at sometime loved him. I can’t wait to read more in, Darkest Mercy.

It is one that I think that every child should hear or read. Mary is so lost and alone when she first arrives. Dickon was always my favorite characters. How he loves with all things that are growing and living. He even teaches Colin to live life to the fullest. A true family story that can bring everyone together, I recommend this to everyone to read.

I’m so glad that this was reprinted. I love this book, even though it used to be a trilogy. It’s such a great love story. Tristan is one of my all time favorite heroes. Even death can’’t keep him from protecting Ivy. Then there was the mystery of who was the one who killed Tristan. And the whole learning how to be an angel was quite sweet. Even how Ivy tried to move on with her life after Tristan, all while not know he was still there. It was heart wrenching. Once Will arrived on the scene I didn’t know what to think. I was almost as flustered as Ivy about which character to root for. But I still love the whole thing and I recommend this to anyone who likes a good romance. There is now more to this series with Evercrossed

Jordan isn’t really happy with how things are going for her. She is being stalked by her ex-boyfriend who begs her every night to him in. As the story goes on she learns she isn’t the only one. This was a very interesting take on the vampire human relationship. The interaction between Jordan and Michael you followed like a ping pong match. I found that the story itself was ok. There are some heavy subjects such as Jordan’s drinking to deal with Michael. But overall it was well written and I liked it.

Most people already know a lot about this story but for those of you who don’t it is about a boy, Harry who finds out that he is magical. It takes place in England and crosses from the world we know to a beautiful and dangerous magical one that we get to see through a young boy. The first time I read this book I was shocked at how much I loved it. The characters where dynamic and well developed for being so young. I can’t get enough of reading this book and can’t wait to read the next book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

The story is very fast paced and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I like that the hero’s are not immortal but descendents of the great Greek Heros. I really enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read the next one in the series, Entwined.

While Tris has been moved from school and family to many times. Daja has lost everything and is even scorned by her people for surviving. Briar is a thief and can’t run anymore. But in while they are dealing with all this there are things that are also coming and they must work together. I really like this story even though it is for a younger audience. The characters are well developed and you get to watch as each one discovers themselves. It is another amazing magical world that Tamora Pierce creates. I look forward to reading the next book in this series, Tris’s Book.

This is the fourth book in the Dark Hunter series, but it is the first story where we get to see an actual Dark Hunter. There are so many characters that we get to see again as well as meet so many different ones. The Devereaux girls are scary and just awesome. Then we get to meet Kyrian who is Julian of Macedon best friend from his past life. Amanda deals with mistaken identity from her identical sister. When things start to come after Amanda, Kyrian must protect her from the other things that go bump in the night. This is one of my favorite couples of this series. So much is going on but it’s all so good. It’s a total page turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series, Night Embrace.

This book is the Guide to the series from book one through book six. There isn’t a whole lot I can say about this as it’s just something that you have to read. The short story in it is so cute. And all the extra information on all the Brothers was great. With all the extras that are added from all the Brothers it is a must read. I especially loved the interaction between the characters and the writer. I couldn’t get enough of book and found it to give more depth to characters that I already loved.

It reminded me of the first time I went to a convention and wasn’t sure of what I was getting into, to my group of friends when we get together to hang out and play games. This is the fifth book of the Women of the Otherworld series. We finally get to meet Savannah’s mother, Eve. The bonus is we get to see the afterlife from her perspective as well. That there is a lot more going on even after you die. Eve is one of those spitfire characters that you aren’t sure if she’s a good guy or a bad guy. She is very entertaining to say the least. The outcome of this story makes you have a double take, but it just makes the story that much more enjoyable. I found this book to be a great story and hope to see more of Eve in the future. I love how the this just adds to the series and can’t wait to read the next book in this series, Broken.
