This is the second book in the My Immortal series. Having met the character Xia in the first book it was great to see a different side to him. He was still his badass self but now he had a lot more depth. Alexandrine being the sister to Harsh was also unexpected, as she is a witch and he is a fiend. She a great mirror to Xia, having the same spit-fire that they through at one another. I really loved this book and can't wait to read the next one in the series, My Immortal Assassin.
