This is the second story in the Guardians of Destiny. This
is Carrie’s story. After talking to Gabe she goes to China and comes home with
something that isn’t hers. Max follows Carrie back not knowing what her
intentions are. All the while the two aren’t sure of each other outside factors
start coming in. What is so great about this story is that it starts off almost
right after the last one ended, just changing the main characters. That is one
of my favorite kinds of stories. I really enjoyed reading this story and look
forward to reading the next book in this series, Tempted By Fate.
