This is the first book in the Lightworld/Darkworld series. Ayla is looking out for her own safety and doing what she has been ordered to do. She has a run in with Malachi while going after a werewolf and everything changes. This is a very dynamic world. There was a lot of character development in this first book. It was a book that I thought was ok but I hope that the next book in the series, Child of Darkness will be better. There was something lacking in this story and I just can’t put my foot on it.

This is the second book in the Werecats series. Faythe is at home trying to do what her family wants of her. But then bodies start to pile up and they are all connected. Also Marc seems to want a promise of something more in the future. While everything is going on it all seems too much. The way the characters discover what is going on makes for very dynamic story telling. I found it a great read and couldn’t get enough of it. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series, Pride.

I can’t wait to read the next book in the series, Rogue.
