This is the second book in the Iron Fey series. Meghan is now at the Winter Court as she had promised Ash. But things are now different between them. Then soon after the change of the season a prince is dead, the Season Scepter is gone, and Winter believes that Summer is declaring war. And that is just the first few chapters. It gets more complicated as the story goes on. Meghan is one of my favorite characters. She may be a half faery but she still wants to help those around her. Puck is back and full of mischief. I love this series. The writing is brilliant and I just can’t get enough of it. I can't wait to read the next book in this series, The Iron Queen.

This is the first book in the Iron Fey series. Meghan is the girl that is just trying to fit in. As her sixteenth birthday is approaching things become slightly odd. Her brother is also seeing things. She then has to go into the land of the Fey to save her brother. This is a great story that mixes the old tales of Faery and adds a great modern twist. Meghan may not seem to be much but she is a very strong character. While Puck and Ash’s dialog makes for great entertainment. Grimalkin just adds so much to this troop of characters. I loved this book and can’t wait to read the next book in this series, The Iron Daughter.

This is the second book in the Shadow series. The book starts off with Custo’s death and then skips up two years after words. He has broken out of Heaven and trying to make his way back to the mortal world. He comes across Annabella as she dances making it possible to go back. But he isn’t the only thing that comes over. Now they must work together to get the Wolf back to Shadow. The story is constantly moving, which only makes for good reading. I find Custo’s character a lot more fun than Adam’s. We do get to see some of the characters from the first book just a little older. I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading the next book, Shadowman.

There is a lot going on throughout the story but it keeps you on the edge of your seat. I really loved this book can’t wait to read the next one in the series, Shadow Fall.
