This is the fourth book in the Dark Guardian series. Hayden was born a werewolf but did not spend that much time with them as she can feel all the emotions of every Shifter she is near. After someone is horribly killed she runs to save anyone else from sharing her fate as the next victim. Daniel is sent to bring her home and to be her mate to help her through her change. This is a great story as you get to see a new side to Daniel who we met in the last book. Hayden is a deep character who wants to keep others just a little further away. The two characters are well paired. I really enjoyed this story and hope that we will get to meet some new characters from this world.

This is the third book in the Dark Guardian series and it was a great twist. I found that Brittany was an amazingly strong character. Even though she isn’t a Shifter she still has many other abilities that she as developed. I love how Connor is dealing with his own realizations, not only about his feelings but also about Brittany. I really couldn’t get enough of this. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series, Shadow of the Moon.

I’ve always loved the woods and national parks. The fact that this story takes place in one was a great idea. Lindsey and Kayla’s friendship drew me into the story even before the introduction of Lucas. The hot alpha male character that makes you think now there is a man. The mishaps and Kayla’s sense of forbiddance make you not want to put the book down. Great story about summer adventure and finding ones soul mate. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series, Full Moon.
