So in this anthology we have some brilliant authors that will captivate you. We have Vampires, Shifters, Werewolves, and Witches. I thought that all the stories within this book where brilliant. Each authors writing is rich and pulls you into the story making you want to read more. I had never read anything by Emma Holly before and I can’t wait to read more of her work. Maggie Shayne, Christine Feehan and Angela Knight I can honestly say I can’t get enough of their work. I really like this book.

After Dark by Jayne Ann Krentz writing as Jayne Castle

Genre: Paranormal Romance; Psychics, Ghosts, Ghost Hunters
Sub Genre: Science Fiction
Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars

Back Cover: Life is tough enough these days for Lydia Smith, licensed Para-archaeologist. Seriously stressed-out from a nasty incident in an alien tomb, she is obliged to work part-time in Shrimpton’s House of Ancient Horrors, a very lowbudget museum. She has a plan to get her career back on track, but it isn’t going well. Stuff keeps happening. Take the dead body that she discovered in one of the sarcophagus exhibits. Who needed that? Finding out that her new client, Emmett London, is one of the most dangerous men in the city isn’t helping matters either. And that’s just today’s list of setbacks. Here in the shadows of the Dead City of old Cadence, things don’t really heat up until After Dark.

This is the first book in the Ghost Hunters series. I was interested in reading more about this world after reading a short story that took place here. But it did take me a little bit of time to find a copy of this book. Lydia has fallen on hard times after an unfortunate incident. She is trying to start her own consulting firm. Emmett is her first client who is looking for a family heirloom. While the two work together they are soon being chased and put in danger. I really liked reading this story. It is more of a good quick story. The two characters seem to want to be together and then keep getting in one another’s way. I can’t wait to read the next story in the series, After Glow.

Fantasy by Christine Feehan, Sabrina Jeffries, Emma Holy, Elda Minger

Genre: Paranormal Romance; Leopard Series, Midnight Series, Vampires, Shapeshifters, Victorian, Journalism
Sub Genre: Urban Fantasy; Historical Romance
Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars

Back Cover: In these four new novellas by today's hottest romance writers, a Victorian widow auctions off her most prized possession: herself...a beautiful jungle explorer discovers her own wild side...a bloodthirsty beauty gives in to her darkest desires...and a young woman turns an all-male academy into a school for seduction.

This is an anthology that actually has two short stories that start off two great series, Fitz Clare Chronicles and Leopard People. This book actually has a little something for everyone. Two of the stories are set in modern day while the others are historical. You have two stories that are paranormal while the other are just good old fashioned romance. It’s a great book with each story pulling you in. I really enjoyed reading this book.
