Believe In Me by Jessica Inclán

Genre: Paranormal Romance; Psychics, Magic
Sub Genre: Urban Fantasy
Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

Back Cover: The Croyants des Trois are a powerful clan of telepaths and healers, and Felix Valasay, as gifted in magic as he is in seduction, is the black sheep of the family… Charm Me. For a Croyant, Felix Valasay lives a charmed life of sensual excess, so he's less than thrilled to be interrupted mid-hookup by notorious Croyant straight arrow, Sayblee Safipour. She'd been the smart one in their magic classes, the one he couldn't win over with a smile or a compliment or twelve, the one he'd wanted so desperately. Now he has the chance to wake up to her beautiful, calm face, to smell the sweetness of her skin, to be this close to those maddening curves… Figures Sayblee would find Felix “entertaining” when they have important Council business to attend to—setting a trap in Paris for the most dangerous, powerful sorcier their world has ever known. To do that they will need to hide in plain sight, living together like an ordinary Moyenne couple, using no magic at all. Keeping her mind shut against the dark forces trying to find them is tough. But keeping Felix's hot body out of her thoughts is nearly impossible. Sometimes the only way to avoid temptation is to yield to it…

This is the last book in the Valasay brother’s trilogy. Felix has been the kind of guy to have many girlfriends. He was even a legend back at school. While Sayblee was always the girl who did the right thing. Now they have to now go and be a Moyenne couple in Paris and work together. Felix was one of the characters I loved from the moment his character first showed up in the first book. The youngest brother of the Valasay boys, very cocky and even a little spoiled but still had a great sense of humor. I like the dynamic between Sayblee and Felix. I really enjoyed how this trilogy ended and will keep an eye out for anything that comes out by Jessica Inclán.

Reason to Believe by Jessica Inclán

Genre: Paranormal Romance; Psychics, Magic
Sub Genre: Urban Fantasy
Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

Back Cover: Meet Rufus Valasay. As a member of Les Croyants des Trois, a powerful clan of telepaths and healers, he is sworn to protect the ordinary world of the Mayenne. But now, with his memory gone and danger approaching, Rufus has nothing to go on but his passionate feelings for the only person he can trust… Make me remember. He wakes in the cold streets of Edinburgh – no name, no memory, nothing but the certain fear that he has made a terrible mistake and left someone in danger. But should he trust the stranger with the blue eyes and blonde hair who offers him a warm place to stay? With a name like Fabia Fair, how could he not? Her quick smile, her lush curves, and the kindness in her voice stir a hunger he can’t ignore. At least he hasn’t forgotten how to bring a woman exquisite pleasure. Or – alarmingly – how to read her deepest thoughts… With each caress and soulful kiss, his memory returns, making him wish he could forget again. For he is no ordinary mortal, but a Croyant, a magic man, and the danger he faces is very real. Someone is coming for him, someone who will harm anyone to get to him and his kind. But he doesn’t intend to make the same mistake twice, or let go of his only reason to belive…

This is the second novel in the Believe Trilogy. Even though I think you could read this one first. This is Rufus and Fabia’s story. Fabia finds Rufus who has no memory or voice. He has been through something that is truly horrific. And as they work to piece who he is together they grow closer together. This shows another side of the Croyant world that makes for a richer story. I loved reading as Fabia and Rufus piece together what has happened to him. I found the story to be brilliant and am looking forward to reading the last book in the trilogy, Believe in Me.

When you Believe by Jessica Inclan

Genre: Paranormal Romance; Psychics, Magic
Sub Genre: Urban Fantasy
Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

Back Cover: Forget me not. Running for her life from three thugs, San Francisco poet Miranda Stead plunges through a door to what she thinks is safety. Instead, she finds herself surrounded by a bunch of paranoid, robe-wearing people who seem to read her thoughts. And then he steps up: tall, dark, amber-eyed, gorgeous Sariel Valasay. And Miranda hopes he isn’t listening to her mind because the thoughts running through her head are decidedly blush-worthy…Sariel knows no ordinary human – a Moyenne – should have been able to break through to their world, but here she is, all lush curves, red hair, and snappy comebacks. As a member of the ancient Les Croyant des Trois, Sariel is sworn to protect her kind and their world from the dark forces always at work. He never thought he’d have to protect her from his own desires. His job is simple: he is to use the power of his touch to erase all memories of the evening from Miranda’s mind. He is to forget hearing her wonderful laugh and funny comebacks in his head, ignore her intelligent questions about his kind and his world, stop feeling the magic of her soul in his veins. But one touch and he knows it won’t be easy. There’s something absolutely unforgettable about Miranda Stead. Tomorrow, he’ll make her forget. Tonight, he only wants to make her believe…

Miranda reminds me of Alice falling down the rabbit whole. Not even sure of what she has come across. Sariel is almost like a dream come true. As Miranda is scared that she is going crazy she just pretends that what is happening is a dream, one she never wants to forget. I loved how this story builds. There are so many layers that make it very dynamic. It just pulls you in where you feel as if you right with the characters going through everything with them. I really loved this story and can’t wait to read the next book, Reason to Believe.
