Robin McKinley has written two
retellings of Beauty and the Beast. In this book there is a magical twist to
the original story. In this book there is a more mature feeling throughout.
Beauty goes to help the Beast's dying rose garden as she has a very green
thumb. I have to say it was well written but I didn't find this story that
great. Maybe it was because I've read her other tales and had high
expectations.
