This is the first book in the Dark Elite series. Lily is
being shipped off to boarding school. She is trying to make the most of it by
making new friends, her first is her suitemate Scout. Even though Scout
sometimes has to spontaneously leave, this making her a little mysterious. And
then with the introduction of Jason and Michael only adding to the mystery.
Lily can’t help but want to play Nancy Drew. I found the story to be inventive
and captivating. I couldn’t stop reading this book once I started it. I really
like where the story went entwining the love for friends to be the core of the
story. There is a little romance but it isn’t the main focus of the story. I
really like this book and can’t wait to read the next in the series, Hexbound.
