This is the final book in the His Dark Materials trilogy. I was sad on how this ended. But the fact that everything did end up being on the shoulders of Lyra and Will made it most enjoyable. As they learned more about their purpose it may be simple but not easy. I couldn’t put this down till it was completed. This whole trilogy is one of those that will leave its own imprint on you. I have told many people that they should read this. Not only is it beautifully written but it's one of those stories that you can read over and over again. Even if you're not into young adult books you will like this one.

This is the second story book in the His Dark Materials. The story has Lyra and Will going to all these otherworlds. Each one has its own dangers. The battle that is being made ready is epic to say the least. You learn more about the creation of all things in all the worlds combined. The way the two get through everything together makes you wonder how they are able to. Brilliantly written story that makes you want to read it straight through. I can't wait to see where this series will go, The Amber Spyglass.

This is the first book in His Dark Materials series. Lyra is a very smart mouthed character that does what she wants when she wants to. I love characters like her. This story is set in an alternative universe. I love the talking animal and not just the souls, but the ice bears as well. They did make this book into a movie. Only it wasn’t nearly as good as this is. There were a lot of scenes that were left out. I love this book as it is a great adventure. As Lyra is going along she is learning more about herself and who she really is. This was a great twist for the story to take. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, The Subtle Knife.
